Well, why not use NGK? They all seem to work perfectly in all my small engines as well as in the marine v8 and the cars. Not one NGK ever had a nick or other issues, for me at least.

I do...now.

My cars and the family fleet I maintain all get either OEM or NGK. All my OPE gets NGK.

My Cub Cadet Snow thrower (MTD PowerMore engine) has a factory installed Torch plug. I'll be replacing it with an NGK 7131 at the end of this season as all my OPE run NGK plugs.

You'll be lucky if your "Torch" plug lasts the season.
Make sure you have a spare plug on standby.
Some of the Chinese engines I own or maintain came with "Torch" or "Bonon" plugs. One fouled the second time I ran the engine. They all get pulled and replaced with a quality plug now(usually NGK).
