DIFFERENCE BETWEEN Mobil 1 Extended Performance & the new Mobil 1 15w50?

What's the real difference between the Extended Mobil 1 oil and the Extended Mobil 1 oil? They just brought back the regular Mobil 1 15w50. What is better this new 15-50 or the 15-50 Extended Mobil 1?

I've seen numerous posts saying the "NEW" Mobil 1 15w50 is a better oil than the Extended Mobil 1 15w50 oil? WHY?

From what I've heard, regular Mobil 1 15w-50 is PAO based while the EP version contains more Group III. I believe the zinc/phosphorus levels are higher also.

Don't use EP. Use regular Mobil 1. I was told from a Mobil employee that Mobil 1 has always been tested out to 25,000 miles.
