Diesel additives by Lake Speed Jr.

What difference did you notice?

Smoother, less combustion event noise, throttle response improved so much that I had to recalibrate my right foot.

Caveat: I drive an old school IDI mechanical diesel, more in common with antique farm equipment than a modern engine. None of this may apply to new stuff, but a small bottle is every inexpensive to try. I'm careful to measure exactly, not just eh glug glug good enough.

All fuel going into our vehicles should be top tier....with no additives. I use Power Service Grey bottle religiously.

I agree. The manual for my 3.0 duramax even says to use an Additive if top tier isn’t available. Since I bought it new 90k miles ago I’ve used Stanadyne, Hot Shot’s, and Archoil for a few tanks until I realized it had iron in it. Current plan is to finish up my current HS bottle and then switch to optilube and mix their XL and boost offerings.

Their AG product looks appealing overall, might check that out. The Boost product you spoke of looks like good stuff aswell
