I read his paper and the first line says it all. His opinion is as good as anyones.I tend to go with what the co that makes a product recommends, if I'm using that product. There must be a reason they warn you about using a mc filter over their car version. I know some people will use it regardless and say it works fine, but oil filters are cheap compared to repairs or replacement motors.my 2 cents.,
That article and the filter cross reference one (think is from the same guy) is where I got the idea to use them. Back when Amazon had them for 2 for 1 for the normal price of just one for like $5 and change, and over $25 was free shipping., I stocked up on them.

The oem recommended filters Are cheap. That's why I'm using the Pure One! Each to his own.
