I recently ordered a GM genuine fuel pump and housing assembly from Rock Auto to take to a mechanic for installation. Before I do I wanted to confirm that the part I ordered is the correct one. Can anyone help verify, its for a 2005 Chevy Tahoe. Also, I got quoted $130 for the labor. Is that a standard price?

Can't verify without a number but I'm sure it's the right one. And 130 isn't bad. Many places would charge more.

There's several variables including with or without Communist emissions

I had an '03 Burb 2500 with the additional emissions and it makes the pumps (the 2500 Burb got two tanks) more rare and expensive.

$130 is cheap.

How are we to know what you ordered? Part number? Link? With or w/o emissions?

Everyone here is great, but only 2 or 3 can read crystal balls.

$130 for labor is dirt cheap. Around here you'd probably be looking at like $600 for labor.

Beyond that, how are we supposed to know if you have the right fuel pump?
