Did Firestone honor their

For anyone who tried to return a new set of tires, did Firestone honor their 30 Day Buy & Try Guarantee with full refund or exchange?

I'm sure they would honor it. BTW - I installed a set of firestones on my van a year ago and I am VERY impressed. this is the first set of firestones I have ever purchased.

Pay with a credit card so you can charge back if they don't honor it

I did this once with Bridgestones at a Firestone store. I insisted on a completely different tire and got into a set of G009s (now Grid 019s) and they were great tires for a large sedan (Dodge Intrepid).

I actually got a set of 4 Destination LE's from a Firestone Service Center a few years back but had them installed at the dealer( dealer put them on for free ). 2 of the tires would not balance up. I returned to the Firestone Service Center and not only did they replace them with 2 new tires they M&B'd them at no charge. Never heard of any issue with the Bridgestone/Firestone 30 day guarantee.

Worth it to buy at a local tire store. Returning rejects to an online store is too inconvenient. Do any manufacturers test tires before shipping to retail/online stores?

I will remember to pay with credit card.
