Dexos Licence Discrepancy

I was wondering if anybody know why is the a huge Dexos licence discrepancy between the Dexos website/approved list (for example Dexos2 list http://www.centerforqa.com/dexos-brand2/ ) and the actual license on the bottle?

What kind of discrepancy exactly? You have bottles that show/don't show dexos2 compliance that are/aren't on the list? That kind of discrepancy?

Not exactly related. I'm just wondering Why some oils that appear on the Dexos2 list do not list the cert on the bottle / specsheet?
for example:
Castrol Edge 5W-40 , 0W-40 , 5w30

On the Dexos website it says that dexos2 is a diesel rating and dexos1 is a gasoline rating. Dexos Information

You're not looking at products that are those that are available in North America, or the correct product, with respect to the 5w30. Castrol 5w-40 and 0w-40 in North America are A3/B4 lubricants, which cannot be dexos1 or dexos2. Castrol has at least least four Edge 5w30 products in North America. There are two SN/GF-5 versions which are also dexos1. There is an A3/B4 version, too, which cannot be dexos, either. Then, there is Castrol Edge 5w30 C3/dexos2, which is, in fact, dexos2 licensed, and available on the shelf, at least up here.

No problem. It can be confusing. Shell likes to have a boatload of interchangeable SN/GF-5 5w30 products. Castrol likes to have a boatload of 5w30 products, all slightly different and not perfectly interchangeable. They even have a 5w30 HDEO, to complicate matters further. It just won't show up as an "Edge" product.
