Not an efficiency spec in sight, but the name reputation is the assurance all is good for the buyer. I wish they hadn’t built a factory in China to make them. Price is good too. Build the factory in the USA and they will sell many.

Not scientific, but the few China made Denso filters that WCW has opened and showed the media under a 100X microscope, seemed a bit denser than the Thailand made OEM Denso filters.

I was looking at pieces of element held in front of a strong led flashlight. Toyota has a few sparkles of light, the Fram Ultra new XG2 that was bad in most other ways, it was hard to find a couple. The Toyota was worse.
I would have to go look again at the microscope pictures. I thought the Denso was pretty bad. He cuts a lot open, more than one Denso.
Others from Mann and Baldwin were pretty bad too. What do they know we don’t. The problem is there can be channels open but if the path turns, it looks closed. I don’t think he can assume as much as he does by the pictures.
