Gas stealing is a major problem at the local sand dunes. I always had a "special" can of "gas" I would leave out for the theives.

Since they take it at night while your sleeping a few gallons of old oil and a splash of gas for the smell is a great start.

I have been thinking about using swimming pool acid. It will eat aluminum pretty fast. Dirt bikes and quads have Aluminum carbureators.

How about sodium methoxide, made by mixing methanol with lye?
