which is better?
I use a de-emulsifier called ILFC Ten-35 so at some point I will have some water sitting at the bottom of my tank.
I also started using FP 60 (for winter use to attempt to prevent gelling) which is a emulsifier so what is that doing when i mix the 2?
this is in my 95 powerstroke.
thank you

If you had any water to knock out then the emulsifer will pull it right back in, would not worry about but do not use 2 additive systems that fight each other.

I have a hard time remembering which is which but what I have heard is I want the water to seperate at the filter, which has a water seperator. I can then drain the filter and be rid of it.

If I mix the fuel with the water (emulsion?) so it goes through the water seperator it gives the injectors trouble. I am not exactly sure but because of the very small holes in the injectors the water has trouble getting through or else steam is created and that is what is hard on the injectors.

Alcohol products are what I avoid in my diesel and are OK to use in my old carb truck.

Maybe someone else can confirm or correct this.
