I was watching one of his shows on the Travel channel. I know people say he is just doing magic, but it's pretty good. Saw him doing things like getting punched twice by a burly guy that is one of those cage fighters. He was punching him in the stomach full force with a bare fist.

He also caught a bullet in a little metal cup in his mouth. The showed it on a high speed camera. Pretty cool stuff.

i would love to know how he does even a few of his tricks. like the day he climbed through a plate glass window that he just walked up to.

The one I'm watching now he does magic all over the place right on the streets, Harlem, Stockton, Atlantic city etc.

He doesn't need no stinking stage with fancy lights and stuff.

A while back they did a magic tricks revealed type show about Blaine (perhaps on Fox Network?). They showed how many of his tricks are done, including the levitation thing. Sadly, it and several of his "illusions" involved camera angles and even editing. It's good entertainment, and you just about want to believe it, but in the end it's all just deception in one way or another.

What about the stunt where he was in a block of ice? We can assume magic is not real, but the people on the street look pretty convinced.

When I saw the big burly cage fighter punch him it looked pretty hard to stage that, or make a tricky camera angle. Same thing with the bullet catch with the little cup in his mouth. They used a high speed camera. The show I watched last night showed Emmet Smith getting magic done on him as well.

I would like to be there in the crowd and watch his tricks that's for sure. Then you can be sure it's not the camera angle.

OK I will give you that, what about the block of ice and getting punched by the burly cage fighter?

Not saying it's magic, but it looks pretty real. Then again I'm gullible.......
