My wife worked at my son's school and often handled the car line. She was constantly amazed at the number of cars that had interiors resembling the inside of a dumpster. It's one thing for something to break, it's a bit different and human to ignore a noise, hoping it's nothing.
It's a seriously psychological disorder to pile trash in your car.................and MOST of the rest of that!
Not dangerous but disgusting. My wife worked at my son's school and often handled the car line. She was constantly amazed at the number of cars that had interiors resembling the inside of a dumpster.
Well that can be up for debate... I agree with knowingly ignoring odd noises, etc., but after having lost ALL hearing not too long ago I don't have a choice these days. I do pay close attention to the way the car feels, have others that ride with me to listen for odd things, use a decibel/vibration meter app on my phone to pick up any sort of spikes, etc. Can't begin to count how many people I know/see that pretty much jump into a vehicle and if it starts and drives they think all must be good to go.It's one thing for something to break, it's a bit different and human to ignore a noise, hoping it's nothing.

I worked as an emissions Inspector and on a few occasions the car smelled so raunchy that I gagged then refused to sit in it and test it. One co worker must have had no sense of smell as he'd always jump in. Then add vehicle that had the chords or bits of steel belts showing and nope no test. Not dangerous but disgusting.
I used to see many like this before I retired - took a few photos so my wife would believe me.
Most people would be embarrassed to let anyone see their car like this.
Let alone allow their children to sit in something like this.
The minivans seemed to most often get like this.

Not sure in WAI worry more about the road rage and small holes that can be added to your car driving in this state, than anything shown in those videos.
