Cyst on neck

Good Adternoon folks. Seeing dermatologist later this week on a cyst on my neck. Keep me in thoughts and prayers if you great folks will. Doctor landed it but didn’t get much puss out, more blood actually. I’m anxious to have it removed honestly.

I had one removed many years ago. It started out small and stayed that way for some time but later on it suddenly grew to around the diameter of a nickel or so. The doctor took it out in his office. He gave a local anesthetic. Never felt anything after that. No pain meds needed, just Tylenol. I can still feel the dimple scar where he made the incision.

Heck, if the doc is going to lance it, why not just remove it at the same time. Pretty easy procedure.

I know it's not the same, but animals have a very high number of the same ailments as people. We are animals after all. I've gotten pretty good at canine cyst removal... Simple, easy and always a good outcome.

An ingrown hair is more likely the cause than an immune reaction to an intradermal microchip. You'll be as good as new.

I had one back in college. Went to my cousin the dentist and he saw it and said it's got to come off. Sent me to a plastic surgeon. The surgeon took it off in a few minutes. A couple stitches. Can't even tell where it was. I get some "atypical" moles cut off every year. Last one came back very suspicious so she cut again a lot deeper to get it all out. Not cancer but almost. That one left a scar on my arm. Better a scar than cancer.

They'll send yours out for pathology and hopefully, it's nothing to worry about.
