Cybertruck invasion

So more gas and cheaper, make more cybertruks for those with 100k burning a hole. I don’t know, the excesses of the roaring twenties again?

Just thousands of videos like this one drawing a conclusion about the net effects of slow sales, high inventory and high warranty/buyback stats

They’re working on it!

Is it wrong to say I’m happy to see some deals happening in new cars again?

I’m still salty about the horrible markups, but maybe dealers will learn something with this massive correction.

I know a couple folks who still haven’t gotten their $19,995 2021 Maverick hybrid after being on the wait list years.

What blows my mind is that Tesla is delivering Cybertrucks with defects or broken to customers. Yet their customers put up with it.
From Torque news "A Cybertruck owner says he was informed by Tesla that his brand-new truck experienced a critical failure as he was on his way to take delivery. Despite this, he decided to buy the fixed “new” truck, and he’s now questioning his decision." Now now Cybertrucks have their 6th recall since January of this year. Apparently an inverter is bad. It's like Tesla has zero quality control.

Yes, the global pandemic wrecked the global supply chain. Prices went through the roof due to simple supply vs demand.
We all need a break, but ultimately it's the market. Car companies and dealerships are in the business of making money.

I wouldn't say zero practical use

I would... they have ZERO practical use.

Unless of course you want to impress some love-mutha-earth hippie chick in which case hopefully she has not heard of all the pollution that's created in building the cyberturk cause if she has she wouldn't be turned on anymore.

It goes down the road. It functions as a vehicle. It might not be high praise, but it's well above zero practical use. You've got some biases blinding your vision and they seem to be political based on that last sentence.

We recently had a large load of CTs dump here too, saw transports full of them and now see them basically every day on my commute drive, did see a single one in person before a week ago.

One time when I was a teenager, I was hitch hiking and an 18 wheeler carrying a bunch cars pulled over... I went to get in the truck and the driver said he didn't have much room and I should get in one of the cars on the trailer.

He picked up a bunch of other people too... we all had out own car!

Then later, the 18 wheeler got pulled over for speeding and we all got tickets!
