The MANN version since I hoarded them when VW started suppling the "T" version which is an FFA made in Turkey - still not a bad looking filter. And more Ravenol VSE..

Also the MANN W712/95 is identical and also made in Germany. The VW filter even has that number on it as well.
Filter appears to be identical to the OE VW filter except for markings.

Many elements are near perfect there, like the bypass spring is wide and no stretch ripples. It wouldn’t matter if it did have ripples in this case, but they make it flat anyway. The synthetic cage, cleaner than louvers, borrowed idea I guess, but why not, better is better. It looks like the Boss media, or is it the Boss media looks like this.
