Cut Open Royal Purple ?

Hey Guys,

Do we have Royal Purple cut open .. I just opened new one .. Not sure If I should take pics or not ..

I did a Bing search and a site search, nothing.

Should always take pics!

We have a pic from either champ labs or royal purple and I have seen at least one from a member on here.
 
Yeah it looks pretty good.

Maybe what the eye is not supposed to see, they don't make purple :)

Are you saying "open end"? ..but yeah, the one up top here is closed end. Wonder why that are doing it different.


What are the different applications between the two? The only reason I could see for his is if they already make a synth media dome end bypass filter for some upgraded OEM (sorta like the UPF line - 'cept that's the only OEM premium filter I know of them making - and they don't have bypass valves)
 
Knowing the part numbers and applications could be useful. The on in this post is a long filter... maybe an FL-1A equivalent? The one on the other post is a short filter. I think the upper bypass may be for the Ford Modular apps.

Really is a nice looking filter. Definitely a full synthetic media... no blend! Thanks, D-Bone, for "sacrificing" one on the alter of knowledge!

The End Is closed on my pictures ... its really cool filter :)

Then you have an open end bypass, but I don't see the holes.

Let me get this straight. if you flipped that over, you're looking at a blank circle ..a closed bottom (dome end )??

That looks like the exact same picture I posted here shortly after the filter line 1st came out? My speed shop guy sent it to me.???
