What oil did you have in the sump during that filter usage?
I've never heard it asked that way before.

Oh that, pretty sure that's just oil, but will look.
Sloppy glue job has been seen in many Motorcrafts lately, and someone posted a YT video of one where the guy was just wiping the glue off, so it wasn't really sticking well to the metal end caps which means it could come loose during use. IMO, not good having glue right next to the bypass valve that could potentially come loose and swept into the engine. I almost bought a Motorcraft FL500S last week at Walmart, but passed because this red flag was popping up. Might go with a Microgard Select next time.
The UOA is linked in the original post, this is my usual MO to cross link the UOAs and filters.
This motorcraft looks good and handled the mileage. We'll wait for the dry media pics.
