Currently not getting any ads on YT with iPad

I don't like using my iPad for watching YT videos because my iPad does not block ads in Chrome. It's a work-supplied device and I must not add apps or extensions. Anyway, on the iPad I get normally bombarded with ads. For a week or so I have not encountered a single ad on YT. I double-checked and ad-blockers are not installed. Do those of you with iPads notice the same thing?*

No idea why you're not seeing ads currently, and I'm not an apple guy, but I block most all ads on Android by manually configuring the DNS provider and setting it to dns.adguard.com.

You know what, I was thinking about this yesterday. The lady was trying to find a song for me on YT yesterday but she doesn't have YT premium; so we should hear ads at least once in the 10 songs; but we didn't. I don't have anything iOS personal or work though so I can't test it out myself.

Yeah, no ads on my PC and Android - all shields up. Talking about my work iPad which has no ad-blockers. So far so good but I doubt it will last.
