I want to get all weather tires for the NX before next winter. Hoping the CC3 becomes available in the US in the Fall. I'd hate to have to buy CC2 at this point, and then having a problem finding an extra one in a year or two if need be.
It is probably the best-selling tire in North America, next to Defender. Why change anything when the competition is not offering anything groundbreaking? Europe is far more competitive, so they have to keep investing there.
Same with the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06+. An upgraded version is available in Europe, but not NA. Tyre Reviews rates the newest version quite a bit higher than the 06+.
Regardless, I put the 06+ on the Audi and absolutely fell in love with them. If not for the cost and feeling "wasteful", I'd take those nasty-ol Bridgestone Alenzas off the Pilot and put the Contis on it today.

Pretty sad for the competition here that they've had years to come out with a CC2 competitor, and all they have to show for it now are a bunch of CC2 clones that Michelin apparently isn't even concerned about...
