It shows some really bad pictures to match and then when doing what it wants then it says, "an error occurred" it is now a non functional mess.
At least in this state and area. Has anyone else run into this? It happens for some of the ad's with phone numbers, when clicking on the box for the number.

I agree. I've encountered countless scams and shady dealings. I reserve it for restaurant waitstaff gigs. Most now use Facebook Market, or OfferUp App.

I once had to get Restraining order on a landlord that wouldn't stay out of my living area. Again.... another Craigslist ordeal.

I quit using Craigslist a couple years ago. In fact, I’ve forgotten about it and all the time I wasted looking for cool cars I shouldn’t buy on it.

It turned into scam city about 5 years ago.

I see more things on FB Market that look like scams.
Email ? I can't stand email now, they have messed that up, especially from years past.

Way too many idiots on CL lately. Recently advertised a three year old air conditioner for $150.00 and included all details including many pics stating clearly what it was etc. etc. Started getting replies like.." it's free right?" or responding multiple times to a person who keeps asking if it plugs into the wall. One guy shows up and says he will take it home and try it out for $40.00 Not worth my time.

I still use CL, have a set of Michelins on their now.... no takers, after 30 days. Priced very fairly.

I'd just like to know where everything has gone the last few years...and it can't just be FB marketplace.
The lack of boats, motorcycles, good quality used furniture... it's just not around.

If after 30 days and you still have it, the price is too high.
I hear what you are saying. A pair of defender 2 with 7/32" in size 235 60 18 @ 90.00, is not overpriced. But I guess the market dictates what a 200.00 per tire (new) should go for.

7/32" is more than half worn out. A new pair delivered is $160 in that size.

Works fine for me. Why are you calling a phone number? Use the Craigslist email relay system to communicate. Anyone asking for a number is usually a scammer.
I've sent an email to 3 private sellers in recent months and never got a response from any of them. The ad stayed up but the seller wouldn't respond. Go figure.

Probably sold, then ignored any subsequent emails or set to block. Too much time & effort to delete the ad, requires effort on their part.
