When I go to my listings page, under Manage, I see the options are: display edit delete, but the renew option is missing. And the ads expire in 1 day. I used to see the renew button 3 days before the ads would expire and it was a quick one click to renew them. What happened to that function?

If these are ads for selling cars, I'm guessing that they want another $5 from you first.
I sold a Goldwing this year on Craigslist using a $5 ad. Cycle Trader ($20/month) and Facebook Marketplace failed to get the job done... The buyer was an older guy, limited on technology. Not surprised that he found it on CL, when it was simultaneously listed on all three sites.

Nobody really uses CL anymore, pretty much everyone migrated to FB marketplace and letgo
FB marketplace has useless search functions. Search for a BMW and it gives you toaster ovens.
I guess I don't use it that granularity, I just peruse the "vehicle" section

The last time (a few months ago) I checked the vehicle section on craigslist for my area there was a total of about a dozen cars, most of them from BHPH places advertising the monthly payment...
That's because all the Craigslist scammers left after CL started charging for car ads. You can find them all on Facebook now.
Maybe for cars but for everything else CL is very useful.

Agreed Craigslist is much better to buy/sell than fb market place.

Craiglist is a great place to sell. There are probably 20-30% of people, mostly men, who refuse to use facebook for anything. The $5 fee gets rid of competition, so, in the smaller world that is CL, your vehicle stands out.
Also there are people who shop at work, who won't use facebook at work because they'd get busted for that.
