Have you replaced the plug lately, and put the proper gap on it?...Also if it has a restrictor plug in it, you may want to swap that out with a regular plug. Restrictor plugs will cause problems....
Friend who is handy had a quick peek at it for me...
Looked in the gas tank, line was broken that connects to the filter in the gas tank.
Is that what it is, a tiny gas filter? I fished it out and will get a new line.

Well, that's good. The gas line in my craftsman trimmer crumbled to dust at a touch... Must be that dern corn likker they're putting in the gas.
