Now that I got your attention.......
Lets imagine that your hunting rifles and shotguns were lost in a house fire and
the insurance company gave you $25,000 for a replacement settlement.
You can't exchange the credit for cash.
You want 2 shotguns, two rim fire rifles, and 3 center fire rifles of different
calibers/cartridges.
I was faced with a similar situation in that I sold everything during the
"gun control" years.
This is how my break down started:
6.5X55 T3
325 WSM Coyote lite
.300 Win 70 Supergrade
12 Ga 686E
20 Ga BPS upland
17HMR CZ452
22LR savage Varm Lam.
The purpose of the 6.5X55 was so my daughter and daughter-in-law could shoot.
In BC we have to carry "heavy" because of Grizz.
In hind sight I would have picked a 7MM-08 instead of the 6.5X55.
For interest and opinion what would you do different?
