the same price I saw in my local store today, too.Bought a 2 pack of 0W-20 today at Costco. $32.99 plus a misc oil fee of less than $2. *** is that? No 4 packs available for any grade.
I just bought a 4 pack from Costco.com for $65.99 and no additional charge. Thinking about returning the 2 pack since I bought the 4 pack but that would require me to make another trip and I'm lazy.Maybe it's some state-wide requirement? Usually Costco doesn't pull that sleazy kind of crap.
They are so freakin slow that I'll never buy tires there. The Woodinville store is an absolute zoo. I hate going there simply due to the crowd. I use the local Goodyear chain because I can get stress-free appointments, rotations, and reasonable prices. Goodyear isn't the best product line in the tire world but I'm not driving a Formula One car so for my use they work just fine. Les Schwab has great service too in most locations but our local one is a zoo and their prices suck. The only problem I have with the Costco Tire Shop is they don't do Alignments!
Yah I get my tires on line cheaper and get them installed at Les Schwab they do good alignments and then I get free tire rotations! They are so freakin slow that I'll never buy tires there. Maybe. When I ordered a 4 pack on the costco website I wasn't charged that fee. So, it is weird.Probably something that you can blame on the state that other retailers include in the retail price. In my state Walmart adds seperately a $0.26 reporting fee to 5 qt that all the oil retailers are required to pay. Others include it in the retail price.
The only Kirkland brand 40-grade is a 15W-40.Has Costco ever released a 5W40 for their oil?
I think they gave up carrying 5W20After months of no Kirkland oil stock, it's BACK in Alaska. Spotted in Anchorage two days ago:

My feeling they are going to use this to Jack their prices out of sight! Look for soon to come Costco higher prices to come. Not to worry I just bought QSFS for $19.65 a Jug delivered!Local Costco in KC was pretty bare this week and no Mobil 1 at all.
