cost at dealer!

Even being a nut about tires, my opinion is there are possibly even better choices for approx. $200 set cheaper as compared to the Oe Michelin Pilot HX Grand Tourer tire. Tire rack consumer ratings has these 3 that I would have chosen from if I had to have the absolute best in that size. They first two are all Ultra High Performance All-Season tires and the Pirelli is Grand Touring category.

Continental EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06
Michelin PILOT SPORT A/S 3+ (W- OR Y-SPEED RATED)
Pirelli CINTURATO P7 ALL SEASON PLUS

Save $100 on the alignment unless the tires were wearing unevenly.

So my opinion is $300 less with a little armchair work on Tirerack even if you don't want to question one other service to have the dealer do.

I suspect sometimes OE tire models are kept at an artificially high price for the many that say or concede to "put the OE tires back on"

one last point!

the dealer said i did NOT need spark plugs, and did NOT need brakes. he could have taken me right there, so that is one good thing.

have a great day guys!

keep those cars a long time!
