Can i use a #2 grease in my Milwaukee 0724-20 v28 drill? and how about my Dewalt 12v dw972 drill? The Dewalt uses some plastic and i am not about the Milwaukee. Would regular grease harm plastic that are in some drills? I have chevron delo # 2, Amsoil Synthetic Multi-Purpose Grease NLGI #2, and Mobil 1 #2 grease available. can i use any of these in them sparingly? or am i better off using Milwaukee brand grease in them?

I believe Dow molykote 33 was recommended for the nylon gears in my 30yo power antenna... Fwiw. Am I reading right that the innards are plastic? Or are you just concerned with the outer casing? I'd assume the outer is at least a #2 hdpe or else some engineering plastic with some resistance.

Whichever grease you use don't use too much, Use just enough to cover everything. Using too much, i.e. filling the case full, creates a lot of drag and as the grease heats up it has no where to go.

I've not had problems using regular #2 grease in power tool applications.
