Any Copart members here who renewed their membership recently? Copart recently changed the business membership options from just a Premier member, to that, plus a Basic member. Premier used to be $150 a year but now it's $250 + $400 one-time fully refundable deposit. No idea why they started adding this deposit requirement. They added a Basic membership for $100 that only allows you to buy one vehicle at a time and for up to $2,000, but if you pay a deposit you can bid on more cars and for a higher bid. I don't buy more than 2 or 3 cars there anyway so I went with the Basic. Anybody go for the Premier, and if so why?
