Anyone try these tires on their SUV or lite truck? (Google has been a complete waste in trying to find solid info on these.)

Reason I ask, is that we were going to replace the stock Dunlop Granwretch tires on the RAV4 AWD this summer with Mich LTX M&S tires ($727.00 OTD at Sam's Club).

We have dedicated snow tires, but I'm after wet-weather traction and improved MPG for the summer.

I happened to be in a Natl Tire and Battery store for my other car and found these Cooper Discoverer LSX M&S tires on one of their strange sales, 2 tires at $75.00, 2 @ $84.00, for a decent savings over the Michelins.

The Coops seem to have decent tread, and a UTQG grade of 520 A B.

I'm wondering if they will do well in both dry and summertime gully washer situations.

Any thing at all on these Coopers would be greatly appreciated!
TIA!

I don't know if they're the same tire but I've been using some studded Cooper Discoverer M+S as snow tires for a few years. They're severe snow rated, have decent shoulder lugs and voiding, lots of siping, and work well in the rain too. I'm using them on a 3/4 ton diesel pickup so I susupect that they'd wear quickly in the summer. A 520 rating is decnt though, in line with other A/T tires.
