Coolant Vacuum Fillers: can too much vacuum cause damage?

Looking to upgrade my cooling system vacuum filler to a dual venturi model. The manufacturer designed this unit for HD trucks with large cooling systems but states it is also ideal for EV cooling systems which have long runs.

Is there any potential harm for using this type of tool on smaller automotive cooling systems?

I have the "car" Snap On version of this (or similar) and it has worked well for me the few times I have used it. Outside air can only provide so much pressure, regardless of vacuum level achieved. I don't think a venturi style device like these can provide a true deep vacuum anyway.

I wonder if this would be the ticket on 2nd Gen Rams. I thought a vacuum filler would be the answer for the notoriously high heater core on those trucks, but I still had poor heat after vacuum filling. Eventually with additional burping on ramps and just driving around, it improved -- but this tells me my HF (Maddox?) filler was not sufficient.

No worse than any other vacuum filler. I am guessing this has a high price tag attached to it, I cant imagine the performance is significantly better in real world use. It takes over 12 cfm at 125 psi.

I'm having some challenges with vacuum filling systems that are still 1/3-1/2 full, which is a common occurrence when doing a radiator drain/refill. Wondering if a more robust venturi setup will better manage this issue.

I doubt it would be much if any better. Honestly I don't do drain and fill if I can help it, open the block drains if possible or dump the lower hose to get a little more out. If the hoses are collapsing that's about as good as it gets. Try leaving the system under vacuum longer then apply more vacuum before opening the fill line.
