Coolant recommendation for my vehicle

Hi, I currently have 3 vehicles. They all have the original coolant from the manufacturer, with the exception of the Jeep wrangler. Can I drain and refill all 3 vehicles with Zerex Original Green antifreeze (ZX001) ?

1. Acura TSX 6yrs old with 26K miles (blue color antifreeze)
2. Toyota Yaris 4yrs old with 90K miles (pink color antifreeze)
3. Jeep Wrangler 9 yrs old with 140K (orange color antifreeze)

I can speak for Jeep and the answer is yes. On both our 04 Wrangler with 2.4L and Grand Cherokee with 4.0, we've changed over from the original orange FF to the green with no issues whatsoever over 50000 and 25000 miles, respectively.

I'm not sure about Toyota or Acura, but when the coolant you buy says "compatible with all coolants" it should be ok (but check your owner's manual for any warranty restrictions)

I have no idea what "orange color" antifreeze means in your Jeep, but if there's even the slightest chance it means "DexCool" I'd get it out of there. If its actually red Mopar G-05, then that's the best choice for it.

The Jeep will be pretty tolerant and most 4.0s lived their whole life on conventional silicated antifreeze. They'll also work fine on G-05. My OPINION is that the Japanese cars would be fine on G-05 also, but the japanese OEMs all prefer a phosphated OAT coolant to a low-silicate HOAT coolant like G-05. I think its not an issue, but others disagree.

What I'm saying is that if I had those 3, I'd run G-05 in all of them (Mopar, Zerex, or Motorcraft- doesn't matter which brand).

Amazon currently have the Zerex original green ZX001 1 Gallon (undiluted version, not 50/50 prediluted) for $7.00. I think it's a pretty good deal for Zerex brand. My local Napa has the Zerex Asian vehicles 50/50 for $10.29 (Phosphate/HOAT Formula; Silicate & Borate Free). The gold colored Zerex G-05 (undiluted) is $12.29, but the description implies G-05 is made for Ford and Chrysler vehicles only. I have read on this forum that Zerex G-05 is a universally antifreeze for all made vehicles. Maybe I should stick with the Zerex Asian formula for my Acura and Toyota, and either the original green or g-05 for the Jeep. I think I should at least drain and refill all 3 vehicles because they are all over 3 years old now.

Duh! I visited the Zerex website and for my toyota and Acura, they recommend I use the Zerex Dex-Cool (phosphate and silicate free), and the G-05 for my Jeep.

Some would run G-05 in all three or even Green and I think that would work OK as long as you get all of the old antifreeze out of the Toyota/Lexus. I think they contain extended life asian formula. I would not run dexcool in the two Toyotas although it probably would work out all right. I would suggested draining the radiator and block and using Zerex AVF on the 2 Asian vehicles.
