Started a thread in powersports but thought I might get more responses here.
I just got a 1993 Ski Doo MXZ 470 liquid cooled.
Planning on giving the machine a full service including coolant change.

What are people recommending for coolant?
I use Peak Global Lifetime in all the cars and trucks I own, would this be ok for the sled?

I've always used whatever the generic green Super-Tech stuff is. Or Prestone.

Of all the years I've been around liquid cooled sleds, I've never seen anyone use anything different or exotic.

Since your Ski-Doo is a 1993 I would suggest using a standard coolant since these newer coolants didn't start coming to market til about '93. Any All Makes/All Models or a standard "GREEN" coolant should suffice.

Green is all I have ever used and never seen coolant related problems. Yes cooling problems but never a coolant problem, eccept for no coolant.

Eccept for one sled
That sled came in with parts and coolant, it was orange(deathcool). It's all he uses, he said.
Ok, extra $$$ for "flush-n-fill", never seen him or it again.
