compressed air

wanted to put this in question of the day but dont have the authority. does compressed air weigh down an air tank? i seem to think so, but my dad doesnt. if something is crammed together, of course its gonna weigh more right?!

Yes ,for example a full steel scuba tank will sink, where an empty tank will float.

Scuba tanks are very high pressure aren't they?
