I don’t really notice any besides Tesla as the others blend in better. Tesla doesn’t blend in at all.
Agreed. That would be my ranking as well.In Victoria, BC Tesla dominates, with Nissan Leafs a close 2nd (particularly Gen1)
I see some ID.4, Rivian truck and SUV, then the rest seem to be just a smattering of different models here and there.
Fiskars, huh? Scissors have wheels now?Tesla for sure, but I've seen all the others and even a few Fiskars.
I suppose it’s not too uncommon to see Bolts either.Agreed. That would be my ranking as well.
Last time I was in Victoria, I tried out the “count 10” game. Look at the next 10 cars coming your way and count how many EV’s were in the group. Sometimes I could see one out of 10 which is a lot actually. In Victoria, BC Tesla dominates, with Nissan Leafs a close 2nd (particularly Gen1)

I assume this will amuse @Ws6 but I would say that the H/K EV's are now as popular, if not more popular than Tesla in my area now. I can't go anywhere without seeing several, in fact, I often see more of those than I do Tesla vehicles, which surprised me enough to make this thread.
Drove to the butcher this aft, saw a couple on the way, one pulled in just before I did, saw another one seconds after I left.
They are popular!
So, I know @DriveHard and @Ws6 have somewhat diametrically opposed views on these vehicles, has anyone else had a chance to gain some seat time? Are they popular in your area?
100% true. There are tons of Porsches, etc, exotics, you name it around here. They aren't the ones causing trouble.Las Vegas, Tesla by a wide margin. One thing I've noticed, even though the cars have massive acceleration potential, all the ones I see are driven normally. No aggravating hypermiling or undue acceleration.
We have cheap gas also and the Mach-E costs us $50 less to operate per month all in compared to what it replaced, a Mitsubishi Outlander that got about 25mpg. Our electricity is also super cheap, so YMMV.We have cheap gas - all the EV's are status symbols - so mostly Tesla - several new CT's. Also have seen a couple Ford Lightnings around, one or two Mach-e.
The occasional old Bolt or i3 in the city, but pretty rare.
