After nalysing this. I came to the conclusion that some for of combo valve prelub by user is mandatory. My question. Is there 100% clean oil that exist. Uf blackstone nalyze it it has to be only oil.is it posssible?I use coconut oil for the seal but the combo valve is in the spin on filter so probably not a good idea to use coconut oil for combo valve

If the filter sets vertically, fill it. Use a few drops of engine oil to lube the gasket, then spin it on. If the filter is a horizontal mount, I'd still try and get at least half the volume in it.
Some are going to chime in about dirty oil from the bottle, and they never pre-fill. Phooey. Oil straight from a bottle is as clean as it's going to get. The advantage is the pump doesn't have to take those few seconds to fill the filter, then get oil to the top end.
No advantage to coconut oil anywhere on, in, or near the filter.

Can i fill it then empty it out.since my goal is to prelube the bypass/adbv combo valve. Its mounted horizontaly so keeping oil in is a nono.but that darn combo still need to be prelubed otherwise it wont function as it should (gravity and all that. (Nvm that part its boring. What is the white film on the combo valve ? Is it wax?why not seal the filter with shrink wrap

You're messing with us, right?

You are over-thinking the **** out of this.

No, I think he has said before he uses coconut oil to lube the gasket for some reason. However, as to his questions I can't imagine that combo valve won't be plenty lubed within about two seconds of starting your car for the first time. If not, you've got bigger problems!

Bandwith impared at the moment.wax is slipery (think sky)but this is nitrile rubber we talk about here. I ain sure the wax will long enough for the oil to reach the oil pan for a second turn.so nitrile rubber will not be properly lubricated if ever in an horizontal position(hence my idea of finding a way to prelub it.when you have 30 years in mechanic experience. 22 In truck driving.all of it mostly old school. Trust me the way that thing is made it will have a fun time trying to prelub itself before coating is gone.i just need some kind of virgin oil. It was mentionned here but i cant recall the name. I think it was for detroit diesel v8 straight oil.(might be)i think i ll just put radio control shock oil(the silicon stuff from associated

As soon as you start the engine the whole guts of the filter is filled with oil. Why would you need to 'prelube' the combo valve?

Horizontally mounted.ok nvm best bet is for me to cook the oil to about 100 degree then put an ounce in there and gargarize it.no i wont use coconut oil lol. Its nice for a lot of naughty better half.in oil filter? Hhaha

Hahaha.olive oil is very unhealthy for my car. And nissan might look at me and tell me to use their lfa or gtr product instead.

The oil isn't just running thru the filter of it's accord.
It's being forced thru under pressure (maybe 50 to 80 lbs.) by the oil pump.
It stands to reason that oil is going thru all areas of the fitter.

[censored] nissan japan racing told me oiling was done by gravity. (Sarcasm friday. Or was it april fool day.(this post)

LoL ... seems more like the normal mode of operation.

Sometimes Internet forum discussions remind me of the time I came across a guy sitting in a small dinghy smoking a cigarette as he pondered the problem of his flooded outboard carburetor that had overflowed into the bottom of the dinghy. As I tried to explain to him that sitting there smoking with gasoline sloshing around his feet was not a great idea I realized that he had quite a bit of alcohol sloshing around in his stomach too. Sometimes it is best to just move along.
