I just bought a used combination switch. Supposedly works fine, I haven't installed it yet. One small thing I would like to fix: the paint on the headlight control knob is worn off. So the picture of a headlight etc are difficult to see. Is there a decal or something I can use to make it look new? The part that is worn is the part you twist to turn on the headlights. I don't imagine I can just pop that peice off and put on a better looking one?? Any other suggestions? Only thing I can think of is a paint marker and someone with a steady hand.

On many switches like this, the knob can be removed from the actual switch.
Maybe you could swap the old good one to the new good switch?

Some companies such as Doorman actually make new knobs to replace worn knobs. That is because they know people don't want to buy an entire switch if it can be avoided.

That in mind, I am not sure about what they sell for Subaru. Usually they only make stuff for the more common cars.
