First time I have ever seen a combination sink / toilet.

Any BITOGERs have one of these or use one of these?

I am not interested in buying one--- just surprised I have never seen or heard or thought of this.

a month or so ago I fumbled my tank lid, and it shattered, in searching for a replacement, i kept stumbling on those, both the full toilet that comes that way, and an aftermarket setup for your existing toilet..

I got in some trouble in early adulthood (a million years ago) and have used one of these, in jail, more than once.

Washing my hands would splash and drip on the toilet seat and floor so and I'd either have to wipe everything up or face the Queen's wrath.
Check out the larger Korean grocery chains like Lotte. They have a section with fancy Korean and Japanese toilets that are computerized, individualized seat warming, behind wash temp and strength setting, and do everything except poop for you.

In the prison version, yes.
Not the ones in my facility, the plumbing is separate for sink and toilet.

Hardly a shift goes by I don't get to play plumber and shut one off, either because someone is using them to try and flood the cell, or the valve has broken and it won't stop flushing. There's some 400 toilet valves in our facility and it is going on 10 years old, so things are starting to fail.

Its the kind of fun you can only have in jail.

Interesting concept; not a bad idea, really.

My only caveat would be that (especially with an elongated bowl), you have to lean over the bowl to wash your hands, which would be hard on my back. Or have a lot of room by the side of the unit to stand near enough to wash.
