I've been using Tenacity and Triclopyr Ester to rid Creeping Charlie and Clover. It seems to work for awhile, but now it's all over the front yard.

Just wondering what all you have tried to keep this under control with a cool season grass like Kentucky Blue Grass.

there's only thing that will kill it and not kill the grass in the process. Celsius. it cost a fortune, but it works.

You have to stay on top of that stuff just like any other weed . You may need to spray twice a year. I use Gordon's Amine 400

He doesn't say what his parent grass is does he? Celsius can only be used on zoysia/burmuda and warm season grasses.

Gordon's makes a product called "Trimec" that also works very well. It has 2 ingredients that the amine 400 doesn't have plus more 2-4-D in it.

Yeah one thing that is frustrating is,some products are put into a category where they ( Amazon ) won't ship to our location. So like Trimec if Menards doesn't it etc, then it's onto checking out another product.

Trimec works wonders on creeping Charlie. Expect it to take a couple of years to clear out.

I get Trimec at the local farm store, such as Fleet Farm, Farm and Fleet, or Theisens.

That's what I use and add some Quinclorac to it for violets.

Still looking for something that will kill Thorny Greenbriar......

I spot spray the whole 2 acers. Usually do the whole yard but getting lazy this year. I have a 4 gallon back pack sprayer that covers a lot of ground and is much better even with half a tank. The Purslane is coming back and there is still plenty of the purple violets to kill. I let yellow violets grow and most clover. Don't spray till late spring for the little yellow and white bulb type flowers all over the lawn. Trees are another annual kill. I have pear trees I cut down 8 years ago that still sucker up. And 1000s of seedling trees every year. I've been using crabgrass preventer in the mulch beds and that seems to stop about all the tree seeds from sprouting.

If I didn't mow and weed spray it would be a forest in just a few years here.

Not practical for most, but if you live in a desert climate for sure.
I don't live in a desert. I just got rid of all the grass and landscaped with mostly native plants and incorporated a dry creek bed. Only have to water occasionally and it stays nice and green. My backyard only had a fairly small grassy area so I decided to have it all paved in concrete. Now we have a huge patio out back to enjoy instead of having to deal with grass chores.

I have over 10k square feet of grass, so the size is prohibitive. I like it and have a 4 year old so in my phase of life a nice large yard is practical. Where does your dog do the business? Mine doesn't use the grass (trained) but curious with your grass less yard.

I'll check this out as well 👍

They go in specific areas and we always pick up right after them with doggy bags. The urine is sprayed off with a hose into a large garden area covered in large sized gravel. I know...it sounds rather gross but it works well for us. Before, when we had grass the dogs would track mud into the house after they did their business. The grass would also get unattractive dead patches in it from the urine. And the dogs actually made little trails in the back yard (it rains a lot in the winter here).
