Cleaning inside of rear window?

Is there any special method to clean the inside of the rear window without damaging the defroster wires? Thanks.

I've just used glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth. Never have had an issue with the defroster breaking from that.

I use a damp chamois leather and always clean perpendicular to (across) the wires. Try to avoid rubbing hard parallel to (along)
the wires.

you will not hurt them with a towel/rag and glass cleaner.

When I help my buddy tint car windows(part time) we scrap the glass with a razor to make sure it is 100% clean. The rear window is a pain since you cant use a razor on the defrosters. We use light steel wool. Never once messed up a defroster grid that way, so rags and towels are no worry!!!

Never really thought about it. Just glass cleaner and paper towels like the other windows.
