Yesterday nice warm day, went out and open the garage, to check oil on car, I have double garage, one side is full of junk and 1 side is for my car. Recently in my life I want everything to be clean and neat, and did learn how to " let thing go ". So I decise to clean the garage, took me 6 hours and mabe 10 big black trash bag ( the garbage men gonna hate me for this ". throw away bunch of clothes, book, vhs tape, computer desk, chair, wood, and picture, lamp, light. This is 9 years of junk.

Here what I found, under those junk.

5 can of PB plaster ( still heavy and full, mabe 95% left on it ), I think I bought new can every time im working on tough bolt. Exhault .....
bunch of snake oil

-_-, stop leak , stop smoke...... , still new and some are half use, some are so thick when I turn up side down, it take a while for to to fall ( all in the trash now )
6 unopen single quart of oils, pennzoil, castrol, valvoline, mostly 10w30
Bunch of car cleaning product, wax to interior cleaner, leather condition and air fresh..... and bunch of micro fiber tower.
mabe 20-30 dollar worth of coint, quarter-to 1 cent, found a old old coin. and some dollar bill
ALOT OF tool socket ! those tool socket I been looking for years, and keep buy the same one. 3 oil filter tool, and some special tool for brake job.
3 can of brake cleaner ( 90% left ), carb cleaner, to starter fluid ( most are still over 50% left )
couple atf dex/meorcon fluid, max life to blue bottle atf +4
MY FIRST CAR OWNER MANUAL, STILL IN LEATHER CASE , my 98 mustang gt owner manual still in leather zip case, bunch of spare key from couple my old camaro.
I put everything in the cabinet, nice and neat now.

anyway I found around 100+ dollar worth of stuff, and moneys, and a clean garage, nothing in the garage accept my car, and now I can park another car inside it, it feel really good . and Im glad I can let go alot stuff I never though I would throw away. Im feel really relive and happy.

oh and I found a old old CraftMan tool box 154 peice, that have MADE IN THE USA STAMP ON IT !! Imma transfer my current tool over to that tool box, cause it seem more heavy duty and quality tool box then my current craft man tool box.

Congrats on getting it cleaned up!

It does feel nice to know where everything is. I used to be pretty disorganized, but now I have a pretty good idea of where everything is in the garage and it stays fairly clean.

I cleaned out my tool box the other day, got tired of looking for sockets.
I found i have FIVE spark plug sockets, only ever remember buying one of them...

i have some old stuff. i did have a can of transmission oil for the chevy 1955 nomad my dad had. i gave it to a collector.
