Hello and good day everybody. was looking to see how you are cleaning your concrete out there. I have some rust stains on my porch that just are not budging. heard washing soda made into a paste will remove the stain. trying to stay away from using an acid if I can I have some plants right off the edge of the porch.

You might just want to borrow or invest in a pressure washer and make the slab white again with it.
I work at a restaurant and they have a 1600 psi pressure washer which is enough to take the rust stains from 4 of the huge trash bins that builds up every 6 months, and take the grease and gum clean off the sidewalk and whiten it to a near new look.

I used a big 13hp Honda powered pressure washer to clean a basement floor some years ago. I wound up blasting most of the surface off the ~50yrs/old floor in the process!
Wound-up skim coating the whole floor with resurfacing mix and epoxy painting it. Good times.
Point being; Don't get too aggressive with the sprayer if it's a powerful one. Or if the concrete isn't in the best of shape, it will be in worse shape when you're done.

H202 (hydrogen peroxide) might work...might. Not sure if bleach will or not. Or else try a solution of TSP (trisodium phosphate) and water. If not, then muriatic acid (HCL)diluted 3:1 with water. Be sure to add the acid to the water, not the other way around! Hose down your plants first and/or cover with a tarp.

I am in no way affiliated with the company. the company is car pro and the product is iron X. when you apply it to a surface it and let it dwell ( very important step ) will turn a dark red as it is pulling the iron from the surface. you can them rinse or agitate if needed then rinse it off well.they make a gel that works well on wheels. you just do not want to get the product on your brakes, hence the reason they came out with the gel I feel. only down side to the product is it smells like rotten eggs, so use it outside lol let me know if you any more info.
