So my house has some Dryvit stucco on the front. We removed some overgrown bushes next to the house and now we see stains on the Dryvit stucco. I am told one needs to be very careful cleaning the Dryvit so as not to damage it. Or get water behind it.

The area has shutters, aluminum covered wood windows and Dryvit stucco.

I was reading that Dryvit should be painted with a Dryvit product, rather than a general purpose outdoor paint.

Well I am reading about the best way to clean the Dryvit. Looks like a product called Enviro Klean Clean 'n Prep EIFS. I have found the product in 5 gallon containers. Low pressure spray. No ladders.

Agree on being gentle…..no pressure washing. I would think some of the housewash like Jomax with a soft bristle brush would be fine. The paint store could give you recommendations on what products to use….
