Two doors are cool for a young person or as a 2nd/3rd vehicle - but they simply are not practical - and yes, the 4 door sporty glass ceiling was broken years ago …

Note that the headline has been changed to reflect the actual closing price on the New York exchange yeasterday. https://www.forbes.com/sites/siladi...-takes-265-billion-write-off-amid-ev-retreat/

The headline blames EV restructuring but one doesn't have to even read between the lines to see that Stellantis has larger problems to deal with.
I got to laugh every time I hear the local radio commercial for the dodge dealership in my area (We're the #1 stellantis dealer in the area) like promoting the name stallantis they're selling some high-end automobile. I feel like driving down to the dealership and telling them it's still a dodge same goes for the ram it's still a dodge.

Why does it bother you they are using the name of the parent company? It's like your local Chev dealer saying they are the largest GM dealer in the area. You seem to be inferring a connection to prestige that the vast majority of people won't make; most have no idea Stellantis owns Alfa, Maserati and part of Ferrari. And RAM is now RAM, the parent company of Dodge hasn't been "Dodge" since 1928, when they were acquired by Chrysler. Trucks used to exist as a Dodge product line under the Chrysler parent, but they were spun-out and now they are their own, no different from the Acura, Lexus, Infiniti, Saturn, Scion...etc brands that were birthed from the ether to differentiate them from their parents. Remember, Ranger and Explorer were both trims before they were vehicles.
