Especially since they keep shipping factories to mexico after getting a bailout.

it should have been a stipulation of the bailout, keep factory jobs in America.

If it's not the moving to Mexico to build US cars, it's the UAW union/incompetent US autoworkers arguement with this crowd. GM and Chrysler got a bailout because they were US companies in trouble and they were offered it. Go out of business? Exactly the opposite. GM and Chrysler are emerging as lean as ever and are already offering top quality vehicles that people want. What's the next arguement? It's not fair to Yotota that they got a bailout and are selling superior cars? Gimme a break!

LOL!

The salesman is an "idiot" but you're the one who asked about the Lifetime warrenty? Then "My friend and I exchanged a disgusted gesture." The saleseman should of looked at you with that look, considering that information should of been known beforehand.

Get over yourself!

Nope. The salesman was too busy checking college basketball news on his I-Phone. The worst part was that we didn't get a business card. This guy didn't know anything about the products on the lot.

Most complain that the salesmen are too aggressive. I prefer to
go to them when I need em instead of them hounding me. Personally
I like the looks of the challenger both inside and out.

You were paying for it anyway." My friend and I exchanged a disgusted gesture. Let's say he's not buying a Chrysler product anytime soon. He did test drive the car, which is extremely weak with an automatic. The whole car is as uninteresting as one can get with a new car. Everything felt cheap. The only thing nice about it is the way it looks on the outside, from a distance. Of course, it is not something they come up with recently so they can't claim credit for the good look.

Unfortunately, this parent company also own my favorite brand, Jeep.

The way we were treated was strange. First we were ignored even though we showed up in a BMW 740i. A quick search in their database would show that my friend just bought a brand new, top of the line, Dodge Caliber during the CFC program for his daughter. Everyone there seems extremely lazy and slow. They lost a sale to someone who is an extremely impulse buyer going through mid-life crisis.

The salesperson, sales manager and dealer ownership are at fault for how you were treated at the dealership... not Chrysler.

Sales staff really don't care what kind of vehicle you show up in. In fact, you may have garnered better attention had you showed up in a beater.

A few months ago I showed up at a Chrysler dealership to purchase a few parts in my 2001 Dodge Neon that is still in great shape. One of the sales staff followed me all the way to the outer reaches of the parking lot as I searched for an empty spot and asked how he could help as I exited the vehicle.

Granted he was visibly disappointed when I asked for directions to the parts department but he was still polite and helpful. I'm certain he was hoping I was in the market for a new vehicle.

Good thing I bought my new Jeep in 2009, I have the lifetime powertrain warranty.

Good luck with that one !
