Chrome os flex

Has anyone ever installed chrome os flex? Formatted an older hp laptop running windows 10 made it a chrome book for my son. The process was absolutely simple and very pleased with the end result.

I installed it on an old 2011 MacBook Pro. Pic from a few years ago. I have since donated it.
