guys pls calm down, the guy died helping other, I pray to the all mighty for him and his family.
let's not judge him for what he did in iraq, he was following orders.

overkill, the war in iraq has nothing to do with preserving any of our rights. pls educate yourself. what if we walked over with few of our humvees and boyscouts and threw that qrazy queen off and annexed it as our 51st state, not fun anymore is eh? (sorry could not resist)

What happened to these two men is a tragedy.

What some are trying to turn this thread into is more so.

Kyle was not a serial killer. He did not get paid lots of money.

He did the job he was trained to do. No more. No less.

I am really stunned that anyone could make the amazing leaps of cognition required to develop such bizarre conclusions.

Loobed, you have a right to your opinions, but I suggest you are not really a true American. I pity you and would hope for you to one day change your mind about our brave men who fight for you to have the freedom to publish your wild ramblings.

Considering we've been allies for what, almost 200 years now? I think it is pretty hilarious that'd you make that joke actually. "We are best friends until one day I decide to shank you in the kidney in your sleep for no reason other than I felt like it". Manly words for sure.

And the war in Iraq has nothing to do with preserving our rights only if you believe they weren't, and continue not to work on Nuclear weapons and threats to the west in general. I'm not in that camp. So telling me to educate myself is akin to me asking you to choke down my viewpoint and "educate yourself".

Considering that Canada isn't threatening to sell their oil in a gold backed currency other than the US dollar (hmmmmmm, that's what both Saddam and Gaddafi tried to do - hence they are no longer with us, and what Ammanutjob is trying to do), I'm guessing the US won't try and overthrow Canada anytime soon.

I heard about this yesterday and couldn't believe it. Kyle saved many American lives over in the sandbox, whether one agrees with the mission or not.

A true loss to our country and servicemen returning.
 
Big loss... but I would like to know if he was targeted due to the fact he was a sniper with so many enemy kills ?

If he was a cook would he have been targeted and the shooter wouldn't even bother?

Why are you trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill? There is no conspiracy here. Being a sniper has nothing to do with the two of them taking a guy with PTSD to a gun range. Kyle wasn't "targeted".

set emotions aside, just cuz loobed does not agree with you and questions the intentions of a person, we dedice to label him as an enemy.

I don't think loobed was talking about dnewton, or any of the vets here.

Take a quick trip to the military prison Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. So are a number of bad apples among many honorable
men/women serving in our military.

One of the things that sets this country apart is that he can not only have an opinion that is contrary to what you want, but can express it.

The disgrace is that people like you forget that the men and women of the US military fight for, and sometimes give their very lives for, that right.

If you can not, or will not, understand that, it is *you* who does not deserve to be here.
