"Chirping' belt

A few months back I had the timing belts changed on my Accord and replaced the original PS and accessory(alt./compressor) belts. One of these now chirps when I start the car and I was wondering if this usually means too loose or too tight?

The replacement belt is a 6PVK1107 and the OE was a 6PK1105 so I assume this means that the replacement is slightly longer?

The replacement PS belt is the same as the OE (4PVK1062).

Both 'feel' just right so I'm hesitant to tighten either of them.

What do guys you think?

Manual tensioned belts always require alittle more after they break in. I would tighten them up some more. On occasion the belts may require adjusting throughout the belt's useful life.

Chirping is from the loose belt. A too tight belt just kills your pulley bearings prematurely.

Decide which of your belts is looser than the others. Tighten it a bit. If your motor still chirps, repeat.

Does you manually adjustable belt have idler pulleys?

If they do, pull off the belt, and feel if the pulley has free play in it.
