Agreed.Like it or not, that's one fast car. Now others will have to up their game...
Now, I am not sure who the intended market is; but EVs are sure pushing the limit.
I mean I get that BYD is doing well, but they aren't sold in the US and even if they were, I'll support US workers with my money. This has been stated before-but I am posting this to keep the nonsensical comments in check-

If they were sold in the U.S. Ford and GM wouldn't be able to compete.I mean I get that BYD is doing well, but they aren't sold in the US and even if they were, I'll support US workers with my money.
I find it hard to believe that most people would buy Chinese cars. There's plenty of well made vehicles from other countries. I've owned many. I'm sure not buying a Chinese product for one of my most expensive items I use daily. If they were sold in the U.S. Ford and GM wouldn't be able to compete.
AS far what country the products I buy originate from-it's impossible to know fully (what parts/ingredients, etc.,) and I don't care.
I just bought a Swedish made car-right now it's the best vehicle I have owned-time will tell.

Not only this, we are a tiny percent of the world population. We have a lot of money available mostly in loans from banks for those without savings.I got a feeling they soon will be sold in the US.
used to at least...Indeed. I buy American or countries that align with our interests (Japan, S. Korea, Europe).
From articles over the last few years it sounds like the Chinese have missed the boat on selling in the USA. Geely and Cherry automotive purchased dealerships in the USA back in 2010 I think, but nothing came of it.I got a feeling they soon will be sold in the US.
Geely does own Polestar. That's likely the closest we'll get for awhile. From articles over the last few years it sounds like the Chinese have missed the boat on selling in the USA. Geely and Cherry automotive purchased dealerships in the USA back in 2010 I think, but nothing came of it.
