If you think our economy is not centrally controlled then you are not following how the federal economic policy shapes the US.
Define economy? Monetary system? China's is much worse. Banking system? Maybe. I am not a banker.

I work in manufacturing. The govt has rules but they don't control manufacturing. They have neither the skill or patience to even try.

They don't control the oil industry - I have friends that work there. They just try to shut it down. There pretty incompetant at it. At best they have simply made it harder or impossible to drill on public land and to ship it. But we still make lots.

There are different levels of tyranny. The CCP controls everything - like how many people and who your going to hire, how much they are going to get paid, etc.

Like I said, feel free to move to China if you think its better?
