Can you quantify MUCH better?

As being made specifically for high performance gas engines. They meet MB229.5 which is a BIG deal considering that requires NOACK being lower than 10% (T6 12.6%). They leave less deposits, are much better in cold cranking, more shear stable. While we know HTHS of both Mobil 1 and Castrol (38 and 3.7) we do not know HTHS of T6.
For turbo engines HTHS is much more important than cst value.

I'm surprised at at all the recommendations on here. In Australia Holden specify a Dexos 2 for the 1.4T Cruze.

Yes, but a with any car, after some time it shows whether recommended oils are sufficient for long term vehicle use or they are sufficient for car maker to meet MPG, emission standards.

Lower SAPS oils.
In EU Dexos 2 is also recommended, due to lower sulfur in gas. In the US sulfur is really high so influences TBN retention in oil.
Hopefully EPA nails that down starting 2017.

I've actually been using the Platinum pure plus, not ultra, it seems to be doing well haven't had a report done on it yet though, anyone else have good reports with pure plus?
