I just picked up 2 cases of Chevron Supreme 5w30 for $20 each at Costco, the boxes are stamped '02/01/09. Thinking of going back and getting 5 more with a couple 10w30 cases. What do you guys think? When was the last VOA done on this mix? If it is still loaded with lots of Moly I will go get as much as I can for the Odyssey.

Date = up-to-date with current API ratings, etc. You don't want cases of oil that are already 5yrs+ old to sit on the shelf. Companies say that there is no shelf life time limit but I still feel better if my oil is within 5yrs of age when I use it.

I hope to pick up a couple of cases myself tomorrow (5w30 flavor) and I always look over the pallet to find the newest. I like the convenient date stamp on the top of the boxes.

The coupon looks to be good for up to 5 cases.

What you can do is don't rip the coupon out but just hand the whole book to the casier. All they need is one coupon, it's all the same bar code for everything that's on sale in the book. You can always get 5 cases and come back later and get 5 more if you want.

Man, I have been using it since costco started giving sales for it, got about 3 boxes of 5-30 and 1 10-30 box, great oil. UOAs reflect it too.
